Nobel laureate Shri Kailash Satyarthi to address MCU students on National Youth Day

Special lecture on ‘Role of Young Journalists in Child Safety’ on Swami Vivekanand Birthday

Bhopal, 11^th January, 2021: Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication will organise a special lecture ‘Role of Young Journalists in Child Safety’ on the birthday of Swami Vivekanand on January 12 at 11 am. Known for child safety and child rights, Nobel laureate Shri Kailash Satyarthi will address students on the occasion. University Vice Chancellor Prof KG Suresh will chair the programme.

Registrar Dr Avinash Bajpai said that Swami Vivekanand is a guide and motivator for youths and National Youth Day is celebrated on his birthday. Nobel laureate Shri Satyarthi will address the students. Students, teachers and employees will participate in the programme, maintaining Covid-19 protocol. Programme convener Dr Ramdeen Tyagi said the programme will be live broadcast on Facebook. Students of Khandwa, Rewa and Noida campuses will also be connected with the programme.
