Important Clarification about M.Sc.(Comp.Sc.)
Lateral Entry Candidates |

We are receiving queries regarding the curriculum applicable to the students who
are taking admission in the Third Semester of M.Sc.(CS) Lateral Entry in July-August
2007. We are giving this clarification again. “The students taking admission to
the Second Year of M.Sc.(CS) via Lateral Entry in the session 2007-08 would be studying
the Second Year syllabus of the New Revised syllabus of M.Sc. (CS) 2007-09 batch,
which is already in effect from July 2007. Detailed syllabus can be downloaded from
here”. The candidates of Lateral Entry in second year of M.Sc.(CS) will have to
pass OPERATING SYSTEMS paper in THIRD Semester and DATA STRUCTURES AND ALGORITHMS
USING C paper in FOURTH Semester.
