Advertising and Public Relations Dept of MCU offers job-oriented courses

Bhopal, 3rd July, 2020: Courses of Advertising and Public Relations Department of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication – MA (Advertising and Public Relations) and M. Sc. (Film production) are fully job oriented. Students get direct job opportunities in copywriting, client servicing, content writing, media relations, digital marketing, corporate communication, public relations and film production after completion of the two-year courses.
Head of the Department, Dr. Pavitra Shrivastava said, ‘both the courses have been updated taking consultations from subject experts and as per the needs of the industries. Practical part is focused along with theoretical aspects. Eminent persons of public relations, advertising and film productions are invited regularly to teach students of technical skills.’
MA (Advertising and Public Relations) is a two-decade-old course in the university and students are imparted training on different aspects of advertising and public relations, media, management and IT subjects.
Students are encouraged to enhance their skills while working on different software related with film production, and study scriptwriting, visualization, cinematography, editing, direction, film research and marketing in M. Sc. (Film Production). Many of our alumni are working with renowned film production agencies. Students can setup their own unit for film production after completion of the course.
Admissions will be given on 30 seats in each course on the basis of marks of graduation. Interested students can apply online by 31 July by visiting www.mcu.ac.in or https://mcrpv.mponline.gov.in. Only online applications will be accepted for admissions.
