Goal with passion is essential for success: Megha Parmar
State’s first woman to reach Mount Everest in “Stree Shakti Samvad” of MCU
Bhopal, 6th July, 2020: Megha Parmar, Madhya Pradesh’s first woman to climb Mount Everest and brand ambassador of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign said that we should set aim for what we want to do or become. Passion is required to achieve any goal. Without passion, you cannot achieve any success or goal.
Megha Parmar, who missed to reach the Mount Everest in her first attempt, said, failure causes frustration but some people in the society increase your confidence. Despite surgery in backbone, she did not give up and finally reached the Everest on May 22, 2019 with Indian flag. She said, woman empowerment will be achieved only by making women self-reliant and independent.
She said, we should carry out physical exercise and yoga for fitness. Sharing her experience, she said, a climber feels frustration as he or she sees bodies of dead climbers on the way to Mount Everest. The shortage of adequate oxygen there is life-threatening. We should plant saplings more and more for protecting the environment.
