VC Prof Suresh to inaugurate Alumni Cell in MCU

Bhopal, 25^th January, 2021: Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal Prof KG Suresh will inaugurate Alumni Cell in the university on the occasion of Republic Day on January 26, to associate alumni again with the university.

Prof Suresh may announce to begin some facilities for alumni in the programme. An alumni directory will also be published later. To set up a separate cell was a long pending proposal in the university and Prof Suresh announced to set up it to get benefit from alumni’s industry experience. The University has planned to establish alumni window in its website and display introduction of former students who achieved positions in media industries.

An internal committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof Suresh. Paresh Upadhyay has been assigned alumni cell as its coordinator. Ex-student Ankit Pandey is convener of the programme. Registrar Dr Avinash Bajpai, Heads of the Departments and alumni will participate in the opening ceremony.
