G-20 University Connect Lecture at Journalism University on January 17

The program will be held in the new campus of Bishankhedi in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) & Research and Information System for Developing Countries  (RIS)

Bhopal, 16 January, 2023: A special lecture is going to be organized at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication on January 17 under G-20 University Connect in collaboration with RIS and Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof.KG Suresh will commence the lecture series organized under the name G-20 University Connect Engaging Young Minds. Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, Director General, RIS, will preside over the function. Mr. S.T. Devare, Chairman, Research Advisory Council, RIS, will deliver his special lecture in the lecture series. The Vice-Chancellor of Jagran Lakecity University, Prof. Sandeep Shastri will also be present as a Special Guest in the program. Vice Chancellor, MCU Prof.KG Suresh said that it is a matter of pride for the University to have this G-20 lecture series since India is Preceding G-20 this year. In this program, we have ensured the participation of students from different  universities of Bhopal city. Vice Chancellor Prof. Suresh said that many competitions including quiz on G20 are also being organized for the students to increase their understanding about G20 and India’s presidency. Dr. Mani Nair, Coordinator of this programme, said that this event is on January 17 at 3:30 pm in the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Auditorium of the Makhanlal Chaturvedi University’s new campus located at Bishankhedi. It is notable that Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication is the only university in Bhopal which has been selected for this programme. After shifting to the new campus,  this is going to be the first major event in collaboration with  RIS and MEA. This ‘University Connect’ event is the second program being organized in India after the University of Kerala at Thiruvananthapuram.
