Dept of Library and Information Science of MCU offers admissions in BLIS

Bhopal, 20^th July, 2020: Department of Library and Information Science of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication has offered admissions in one-year graduation course Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) for students seeking as librarian and information officer.

‘The course aims at developing manpower capable to manage libraries and information centres effectively and efficiently with professional attitude and values. This is unique course and has been designed to get job in library and information science field,’ said department HoD Dr Aarti Sarang.

BLIS is one year degree progamme and graduate in any discipline from recognised university can apply for admissions. Job opportunities are available as a librarian, reference librarian, information archivist, information analyst, cataloguer, indexer, information officer after completion of the programme.

Admissions will be given on 20 seats. Interested students can apply online by 31 July by visiting www.mcu.ac.in or https://mcrpv.mponline.gov.in. Only online applications will be accepted for admissions.
